Never Under Estimate the Power of Togetherness

Women are more likely to experience poverty than men. As of 2021, women accounted for nearly 56% of adults in poverty in the U.S.

Women and girls living in poverty are more vulnerable to various forms of violence, including domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation.

Poverty can hinder access to quality education for girls and boys alike. However, girls often face additional barriers such as cultural norms, and early pregnancies, which can prevent them from attending school

Insufficient income and resources can lead to inadequate nutrition, affecting physical and cognitive development in children, and maternal health.
